Blue Gets Mass Artifact Animation Spell In Rise And Shine In Modern Horizons 2

New way to weaponize your artifacts coming in Modern Horizons 2.

Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and The Command Zone, check out a new way to turn your artifacts into creatures from Modern Horizons 2 — Rise and Shine!

The newest way to animate your artifacts is here and it can fill the roles of creature-maker or a potential game-ender. Take a look at the normal version and the sketch variant.

Target noncreature artifact you control becomes a 0/0 artifact creature. Put four +1+1 counters on each artifact that became a creature this way.

The two-mana mode for Rise and Shine does a pretty solid Ensoul Artifact impersonation despite the fact that it can’t target an artifact creature. Of course, Ensoul Artifact doesn’t have the opportunity to turn your whole battlefield of artifacts into 4/4s either.

Overload 4UU

Overload makes its return in Mordern Horzions 2 after debuting in Return to Ravnica block and showing up in Commander sets as well as the first Modern Horizons. Late in the game, you can weaponize all your noncreature artifacts and send them into the red zone for huge damage.

What do you think of Rise and Shine? Can it cut it in Modern or will it live mostly in Commander? Let us know in the comments!

Modern Horizons 2 is currently scheduled to release on June 18. View our Official Preview Gallery.
