As part of an ongoing series of weekly changes, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced the updates and changes for Week 2 of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt on Magic Online.
Alpha Core Set Cube Debuts Tomorrow
The latest Cube offering on Magic Online will be the Alpha Core Set Cube designed by Harper O’Neil. Starting tomorrow, players can draft the Cube that features all core sets in Magic history dating back to Alpha. The Cube will be up for a week. The card list for the Cube, along with a breakdown of the archetypes, can be found in the preview article by WotC.
Magic Online All-Access
Beginning September 29 at 10 AM PT, players can purchase an Origins entry package for $20. This package includes:
- “A Mythic Event Token usable for entry into one of the 28 Constructed events held during the four days of the convention.”
- “All Access to cards in Magic Online until Wednesday at 10 AM PT.”
Also included with All Access is free entry into any number of casual games. Note: Leagues, Queues, and Scheduled Events will still have entry fees.
Playing three rounds in one of the convention events will also net up to nine (9) booster packs, plus an exclusive Xanathar avatar and non-foil Demilich. Winning three rounds in a single convention event will award a Wizards Ticket, which grants entry into the Convention Series Championship on Saturday, January 1, 2022.

Multiplayer Commander Constructed Leagues End Soon
The Multiplayer Commander Constructed Leagues will close tomorrow. Players will conclude each week with a vote for best table win, with each winner automatically receiving two votes.
- Dates: September 15–29, starting and closing at 10 AM PT
- Format: Commander Constructed
- Entry Options: 5 Event Tickets or 50 Play Points
- Size: 4 Players per game
- Play Style: Single Game
- Duration: Three Rounds, with each round giving each player 30 minutes
