Today’s episode of Weekly MTG previewed all 50 cards from the upcoming micro Magic: The Gathering set March of the Machine: The Aftermath.
Blake Rasmussen was joined by Emily Teng and Roy Graham to not only show all the cards, but talk about the characters and their place in the story. The set contains 50 cards featuring 15 uncommons, 25 rares, and 10 mythic rares. Check out all the cards below!
Planeswalkers Turned Legendary Creatures
We start out with the 10 cards depicting planeswalkers turned legendary creatures after losing their sparks. Each card is a mythic rare. Take note of the planeswalkers not shown here, as not all planeswalkers lost their spark — like Chandra and Ajani. We will have to wait and see in future sets which other planeswalkers made it out of the war with their spark still intact.
All of the 50 cards were previewed in batches by which plane the cards take place on.

The last two cards were shown in their promo versions, with Spark Rupture, notably taking place in the Blind Eternities.
Booster Fun
There is plenty of booster fun to go around despite the set only being 50 cards. Almost every card in the set gets a planar treatment, using the stylized frames depicting which their given planes. Spark Rupture gets its own borderless treatment while the cards from Zhalfir receive the retro-frame treatment.
Also, each card gets a foil-etched variant on top of its other booster fun treatments.
