Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has released their weekly MTG Arena update that includes details on the next Arena Open, the arrival of Tinker’s Cube, and more.
Streets of New Capenna Preorders
Preorders for Streets of New Capenna on MTG Arena begin April 7. The following bundles will be available at that time.

Blood Artist Alchemy Rebalancing
The text on Blood Artist has been changed from “target player” to “target opponent”. This is a “quality-of-life improvement” so that “players don’t have to select a target each time Blood Artist triggers.”
Deck Editor Update
The new update to the deck details menu allows for easier customization of your avatars, pets, and sleeves.
Arena Open Returns April 16-17
The Arena Open returns next month featuring the Historic format. Players can battle in Best-of-One or Best-of-Three on Day 1 in attempt to make Day 2. Get all the details for the event here. Entry fee is 25,000 gold or 5,000 gems and comes with a Neon Samurai card sleeve. Players can enter Day 1 as many times as they wish.

These Mythic Packs “ensure that the card in the rare or mythic rare slot is always a mythic rare (unless it is replaced by a wildcard)” and “help collectors who have completed their collection of rares for this set but are still missing mythic rare cards.”
