Episode 3 of the Aetherdrift story drops us right back into the death race action as the Ghirapur Grand Prix blasts into the desert tracks of Amonkhet. We see the perspectives of many race teams, ranging from Daretti of the Rocketeers, Winter of the Speed Demons, Chandra of the Cloudspire Racing Team, Far Fortune of the Endriders, Basri from the Champions of Amonkhet, and Spitfire of the Aether Rangers.

Go! puts the death in death race as we get to see the action on the track as the competing teams employ a variety of ways to destroy each other. The Endriders use massive explosions, Chandra hurls fireballs, Winter summons a demon to attack other racers, while Spitfire outmaneuvers the chaos, using her lightning abilities to clear away opposing forces with style. Goblins fall victim to flaming chainsaws in a hectic demise while a member of the Champions of Amonkhet accepts death honorably to further his team’s chances at victory.

Not only are the competitors causing mass destruction, but near the end of the leg of the race in Amonkhet a storm fueled by death clouds forms and represents an end to the race for any who can not out run it. The major players of the story make it through the Omenpath to Muraganda and we see Spitfire and Chandra take in the sights of the new plane. Spitfire chats with Pia Nalaar and reflects on the stakes of the race and knowing the price winning and losing costs.

Jace continues to influence Mohar, who has started enlisting others to help in their cause of returning to the old ways of Kaladesh. They want to destroy Avishkar and its newer sensibilities and return the country to its prior ways when people like Mohar were in charge. We see Vraska talking with Jace, telling him how this new revolution will be disastrous and how regular people will suffer. But Jace soldiers on, stating “It won’t matter. None of this is going to matter in a couple of weeks. All you have to do is trust me.”
