Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has shared several new cards from the upcoming Universes Beyond: Doctor Who Commander Decks and artwork from The Lost Caverns of Ixalan.

Lost Caverns of Ixalan

While no cards were shown, we get a glimpse into the worldbuilding of November’s MTG expansion through several art pieces.

According to WotC, Ixalan is a hollow plane that has it’s own subterranean sun and unique inhabitants. While the creature types from the original Ixalan sets will be returning, it’s noted that this set will not be a “typal” set.

Huatli makes her return, but like so many planeswalkers after the events of March of the Machine, she too has lost her spark.

God cards are also back in this set, two of which you’ll see below – Ojer Axonil and Ojer Kaslem.
