Teferi, Thalia, And Quintorius Grace Cover Of March Of The Machine Bundle

Let the speculation for 2023’s second MTG set begin

While the Magic: The Gathering world is set to get its first look at Phyrexia: All Will Be One today, the packaging for the Bundle from March of the Machine surfaced on Reddit this morning.

March of the Machine is the second Standard-legal set scheduled to be released in 2023, following Phyrexia: All Will Be One, and will conclude the Dominaria United story arc. It’s slated for a Q2 release, but the Bundle art gives us a glimpse of what is to come.

The box appears to show Teferi, Thalia, and Quintorius under the looming image of Elesh Norn. The background art looks to have hedrons, dragons, soldiers, and other unidentifiable characters fighting on locations featuring buildings that call back to Theros and Kamigawa. Multiple planes are represented from the characters to the surroundings, hinting at a massive end-game scenario to the story where everyone has to band together to defeat the Phyrexians.

Teferi and Thalia are no strangers to MTG fans, but Quintorius is a surprise addition, after only appearing and debuting in Strixhaven: School of Mages in April of 2021. Quintorius is a field historian and archaeomancer who went from being expelled from a military academy to a mage-student of the Lorehold College at Strixhaven.
