Cynthia Williams, President of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Hasbro Gaming, informed Hasbro on Monday her intent to resign from the company on April 26.
Hasbro didn’t specify a reason for Williams’ resignation on its 8-K filing, a report that companies must file with the SEC to announce major events.
Williams was appointed the position of President of WotC and Hasbro Gaming on February 21, 2022. She joined Hasbro after working as as General Manager and Vice President, Gaming Ecosystem Commercial Team at Microsoft.
The news comes just over a week before Hasbro will release its First Quarter 2024 Earnings, which is scheduled for April 24. Hasbro is currently conducting a process to hire her successor.
