As part of an ongoing series of weekly changes, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced the updates and changes for Week 18 of Streets of New Capenna on Magic Online.
2022 MOCS Roster Announced
The next MOCS Showcase event is scheduled for October 8 and eight players have qualified to battle it out for their share of the $70,000 prize pool and and one of two invites to the 2023 World Championship. These are the eight qualified players:

August Features Double Masters 2022 Duels On Weekends
A new type of a Limited event comes to Magic Online this month, with two seven-round Double Masters 2022 Sealed tournament on each Saturday and Sunday in August. The events start at 1 AM PT and noon PT each day and cost 45 event tickets or 450 play points.
The prizes for each Double Masters 2022 Duels comes down to win totals.
- 7 wins — 900 play points, 50 treasure chests, Double Masters 2022 regular set, 40 Season 3 QPs
- 6 wins — 600 play points, 25 treasure chests, 30 Season 3 QPs
- 5 wins — 450 play points, 10 treasure chests, 20 Season 3 QPs
- 4 wins — 350 play points, 5 treasure chests, 10 Season 3 QPs
Format Challenges
Format Challenges are scheduled to run every weekend for the foreseeable future and are the first step to qualifying for Premier Play. The schedule for upcoming Format Challenges can be found below:
