World Premiere and Weekly MTG stream show off tons of new cards and Booster Fun treatments for Lorwyn Eclipsed

The Lorwyn Eclipsed World Premiere kicked off preview season today with a music video produced by The Jim Henson Company and an avalanche of card previews going over mechanics, Booster Fun treatments, and special guests on Weekly MTG.

World Premiere Previews

Oko returns as a double-sided planeswalker to show off the day/night aspect on many cards. Goblins, Faeries, Merfolk, Elves, Giants, Kithkin, Elementals, and Changelings are back to capture the feel of the original Lorwyn block.

Mechanics

Lorwyn Eclipsed brings back foretell, convoke, and evoke while it introduces blight and vivid. Kindred is also back, as seen on the typal sorcery — Grub’s Command.

Booster Fun

The Booster Fun treatments for the set begin with the amazing headliner variant of Bitterbloom Bearer with art by Rebecca Guay.

The treatments also range from Fable Frame cards, borderless cards, Japan showcase cards, and reversible shock lands. Players get to pick day or night options for many of their favorite cards in the set.

Commander Decks

Lorwyn Eclipsed offers players two Commander Decks, the five-color Dance of the Elements deck and the red, green and black Blight Curse. Check out the face cards for each deck.
