Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has released their weekly MTG Arena update that includes details on Mythic Booster packs, new pack bundles, and more.
Mythic Boosters Hit The Shop Tomorrow
The new Mythic Boosters will be available in the MTG Arena shop starting tomorrow. These packs will guarantee a mythic rare or wild card for 1,300 gold or a bundle of 10 packs for 2,600 gems. These packs were teased in the Daily MTG article about the MTG Arena economy as a way for players to complete their collections.
Alchemy: Kamigawa Pack Bundle Launches Tomorrow
A one-time offer of a bundle of 20 Alchemy: Kamigawa packs goes on sale tomorrow for 15,000 gold or 3,000 gems. This bundle will replace the Alchemy: Innistrad bundle, so pick it up today if you need to fill out your Alchemy: Innistrad collection.
Alchemy Balance Changes Scheduled For Early April
There will be a number of Alchemy cards rebalanced with the April 7 update to the MTG Arena client. With the update’s proximity to a Qualifier Weekend, the MTG Arena team wanted to give players as much time as possible to adapt to the rebalanced cards.
Arena Open Returns April 16-17
The Arena Open returns next month featuring the Historic format. Players can battle in Best-of-One or Best-of-Three on Day 1 in attempt to make Day 2. Get all the details for the event here. Entry fee is 25,000 gold or 5,000 gems and comes with a Neon Samurai card sleeve. Players can enter Day 1 as many times as they wish.
