Gavin Verhey gave a surprise announcement during a panel at Gen Con today revealing Mystery Booster 2 will be here before you know it.
After the success of the first Mystery Booster product that made its debut in November of 2019 at MagicFest Richmond, players will get the chance to experience a “bunch of new wacky stuff that is even wilder than the first time around” at MagicCon: Las Vegas. Mystery Booster 2 will be part of the convention experience so it will be available at conventions from MagicCon: Las Vegas going forward, as well as part of the Festival in a Box.
The original Mystery Booster included 1,694 reprints and 121 playtest cards, which were the big surprise in the product. More details on Mystery Booster 2 will be unveiled on Tuesday’s Weekly MTG stream.
