Today’s continuation of the Streets of New Capenna story revealed several new artworks, including a look at Ob Nixilis, the Maestros crime family, locations within the city, and more.
In a meeting behind closed doors, Ob Nixilis reveals his plan to steal an artifact known as the “Font” from the Cabaretti and use it to take over the plane.
Meanwhile, Elspeth has taken up odd jobs around the city, and has found herself working for Mezzios Cleaners, a local laundromat. The mundane job wouldn’t last long however, as a roving gang of Maestros enforcers begin pressuring the shopkeeper, leading to a confrontation between the Vampires and Elspeth.
After dispatching the enforcers, a higher ranking member of the Maestros, Anhelo, introduces himself and offers Elspeth a job. Elspeth reluctantly agrees to follow Anhelo in hopes of gaining information about the Phyrexians which she can relay to the Gatewatch.
