Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has shared new details for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering Regional Championship seasons, including important dates and promos.
Regional Championship Qualifiers
The next round of Regional Championship Qualifiers (RCQs) will be either Modern or Limited and run April 4 through August 2.
The participation promo for this season will be a full-art, non-foil Ancient Stirrings, illustrated by SimzArt.
The Top 8 players in each event will earn a copy of this full-art, non-foil Sowing Mycospawn, illustrated by Nathan Jurevicius. The winners of each event will earn an additional, traditional foil copy of this promo.
Spring Regional Championships
The 2026 Spring Regional Championships begin on May 8 and will feed into the Pro Tour at MagicCon: Amsterdam.
All participants in these events will earn a full-art, non-foil Emberheart Challenger promo, illustrated by CHOGRIN. Top finishers will receive an additional, traditional foil copy of this promo.
The dates for the United States Regional Championships are as follows:
- May 29–31 in Washington, DC
- May 15–17 in Cincinnati, Ohio
