Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has revealed new details and promos for MagicCon: Chicago next year.
Badges
Those looking to attend MagicCon: Chicago will have numerous Badge Package options. The cheapest packages start at $35 for adults and $20 for kids ages six through 12. Children under five will not require a badge. Additionally, every Badge Package will include a non-foil, full-art Avacyn’s Pilgrim promo. Some higher-tier packages also offer traditional foil versions of the promo.
Badge Packages for MagicCon: Chicago will be available starting Monday, December 9 at 10 AM PT with early-bird sales ending on December 16. You can view the full details for each Badge Package tier here.
Pro Tour Aetherdrift
MagicCon: Chicago will feature Pro Tour Aetherdrift – Magic: The Gathering’s first Pro Tour of 2025. This event boasts a $500,000 prize pool and will award invites to “upcoming competitive events.” The formats for Pro Tour Aetherdrift will be Standard and Aetherdrift Draft.
Secret Lair Promos
For those not participating in Pro Tour Aetherdrift, side events like The Secret Lair Spectacular will have three new promos up for grabs.
