Following preview season tradition, Magic: The Gathering Head Designer, Mark Rosewater, has shared a teaser for The Brothers’ War to his Blogatog.
While each bullet provides a partial hint for things to come within the set, a few of the most interesting details include a Teferi with a new way to gain loyalty counters, a command with X in its mana cost, and a card that says, “Permanents you control have ‘Ward – Sacrifice a permanent.’” He also pointed out that the next card featuring the likeness of a World Champion will be in the set.
Additionally, Rosewater shared several of the creature types being included in the set: Mole Horror, Phyrexian Wurm, Phyrexian Human Assassin, and Legendary Creature – Human Artificer Advisor.
