Following preview season tradition, Magic: The Gathering Head Designer, Mark Rosewater, has shared a teaser for Reality Fracture to his Blogatog.
While each bullet provides a partial hint for things to come within the set, a few of the more interesting details include: “a new wish,” “new restriction for whether a cycle of dual lands enters tapped,” “a card that creates a colorless artifact token named Lotus with ‘{T}, Sacrifice this token: Add three mana of any one color’,” and “mechanic that creates a token type no other mechanic has ever created.”
Some tidbits of rules text that appears on cards includes: “Target planeswalker you control deals damage equal to its loyalty,” “Exile all but the bottom card of each opponent’s library,” and “planeswalkers you control aren’t put into their owner’s graveyards for having 0 loyalty.”
Additionally, Rosewater shared several of the creature types being included in the set, some of which include: Creature – Gremlin Elemental, Legendary Creature – Ogre Crab Wizard, and Legendary Creature – Homunculus Scout.
The list of names also shows that we will see new versions of cards for Tomik, Lyra, and Winter.
