MTG Announces Pro Tour Edge Of Eternities, Changes For Regional Organizers

Get ready for Pro Tour Edge of Eternities, plus details for event organizer changes in select regions.

Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has shared new details for upcoming Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour events as well as changes to select Regional Championship organizers.

2025 MTG Pro Tour Schedule

  • February 21–23, 2025: Pro Tour Aetherdrift at MagicCon: Chicago.
  • June 20–22, 2025: Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering®—FINAL FANTASY™ at MagicCon: Las Vegas.
  • September 26–28, 2025: Pro Tour Edge of Eternities at MagicCon: Atlanta.

The third and final Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour of 2025 has been officially announced as Pro Tour Edge of Eternities! This event will take place at MagicCon: Atlanta, September 26-28, 2025. Following Pro Tour Edge of Eternities, Magic: The Gathering World Championship 31 will take place in early December 2025.

No other details for World Championship 31 have been revealed at this time.

Regional Championship Organizer Changes

Australia/New Zealand

Following Regional Championship Melbourne (May 9-11), Good Games will be turning over the organizer reigns to Let’s Play Games, with their first event being the Regional Championship scheduled for October 25-26 (location not yet known).

  • March 7–9, 2025: Regional Championship Sydney at ANZ Super Series Finals, presented by Good Games. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY at MagicCon: Las Vegas this September.
  • May 9–11, 2025: Regional Championship Melbourne at ANZ Super Series Finals, presented by Good Games. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Edge of Eternities at MagicCon: Atlanta this September.
  • October 25–26, 2025: Regional Championship at ANZ Super Series Finals, presented by Let’s Play Games. This event qualifies players for the first Pro Tour taking place in 2026.

South America and Brazil

The final MTG Regional Championship of 2025 for South America and Brazil (date and location TBD), will see the two regions combined under one organizer. The new organizer, Devir BR, will be taking over responsibilities from City Class (Brazil) and Magicsur (South America).

  • January 25–26, 2025: Regional Championship São Paulo at City Class Showdown, presented by City Class. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY at MagicCon: Las Vegas this September.
  • March 15–16, 2025: Regional Championship Santiago at South American Magic Series, presented by Magicsur. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY at MagicCon: Las Vegas this September.
  • May 3–4, 2025: Regional Championship at City Class Showdown, presented by City Class. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Edge of Eternities at MagicCon: Atlanta this September.
  • May 31–June 2, 2025: Regional Championship Santiago at South American Magic Series, presented by Magicsur. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY at MagicCon: Las Vegas this September.
  • TBD 2025: Regional Championship, presented by Devir BR. This event qualifies players for the first Pro Tour taking place in 2026.
