The bonus card for the second of four Hatsune Miku Secret Lair drops appears to be a full-art Command Tower with the character looming larger than life in the card’s illustration.
Secret Lair X Hatsune Miku: Digital Sensation was the second drop featuring the cultural phenomenon and was available as part of the Summer Superdrop 2024. The drop contains new art versions of six cards:
- 1x Diabolic Tutor
- 1x Chord of Calling
- 1x Child of Alara as “Miku, Child of Song”
- 1x Song of Creation
- 1x Sol Ring
- 1x Thespian’s Stage
The first drop, Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar, was part of the Spring Superdrop 2024. Its contents included:
- 1x Shelter
- 1x Chandra’s Ignition as “Miku’s Spark”
- 1x Harmonize
- 1x Azusa, Lost but Seeking as “Miku, Lost but Singing”
- 1x Feather, the Redeemed as “Miku, the Renowned”
- 1x Inspiring Vantage
The bonus card for the first drop was an Elvish Mystic showing Miku surround by flowers.
However, some posters on Reddit showed off a seemingly much rarer bonus card for the first drop — an alternate art and name Snapcaster Mage.
But the collector number for the bonus cards look to be going up, which would align the bonus cards with the corresponding Miku Secret Lair drops. Wizards of the Coast (WotC) officially announced there would be four Secret Lair drops for Hatsune Miku, and the first two included in the Spring and Summer Superdrops for 2024 appear to be Elvish Mystic (No. 805) and Command Tower (No. 806). If this theory holds true, this would leave another card for the upcoming Autumn Superdrop and potentially the Snapcaster Mage for the fourth drop with the Winter Superdrop.
We will have to wait and see what cards turn up for more players as they open their Secret Lair X Hatsune Miku: Digital Sensation drops. The next Superdrop will be the Inside an Elevator Superdrop which goes on sale at 9 AM PT on July 29 on the Secret Lair site.
