Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has released their weekly MTG Arena update that includes details on the next Qualifer Play-In event plus new events and bug fixes.
Qualifier Play-In
The next Qualifier Play-In event will take place on June 11 and will feature Arena’s new Explorer format.
Explorer Ban List Update
Following the recent Pioneer Banned & Restricted update, Expressive Iteration is now banned in Explorer as well. Players logging in after June 9 will receive uncommon Wild Card compensation for the banned card.
Prelease Code Fix
If you experienced issues redeeming your Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate prerelease codes, you’ll receive a voucher that will appear in the packs tab. Vouchers redeemed but not opened will be automatically converted to packs upon the release of Alchemy Horizons: Baldur’s Gate on July 7.
Premier Draft New Capenna: Alchemy
New Capenna: Alchemy Premier Drafts will be extended through June 13.
“Each Draft pack contains one card from Alchemy: New Capenna:
- 55% of packs contain an uncommon card.
- 38.57% of packs contain a rare card.
- 6.43% of packs contain a mythic rare card.
- Each rare appears twice as often as each mythic rare.”
