Stock up on those school supplies because Magic: The Gathering is going back to college with the release of Secrets of Strixhaven. Players return to campus and revisit the world of Arcavios, which was introduced in Strixhaven: School of Mages back in 2021.
Secrets of Strixhaven is the second in-universe set for Magic in 2026 and offers more than 300 Standard-legal cards while also featuring a robust Commander Set and bonus sheet with a sophomore season of the Mystical Archive.

Set Symbols And Legality
All cards featuring the main set symbol for Secrets of Strixhaven will be legal for play in Magic’s Standard format. Any cards with the Commander Set or Mystical Archive symbol will only be legal for play in Eternal formats unless the card is already legal in Standard.
The Mystical Archive Returns
Strixhaven’s unique bonus sheet, the Mystical Archive, will return for Secrets of Strixhaven. Each card in the Mystical Archive will have a unique English and Japanese frame variant which you can see below.
The Japanese versions also include Silver Scroll variants (seen above to the right).
The First Look
