SCG CON Dallas kicks off this weekend and features all the Magic: The Gathering and Flesh and Blood action you can handle over three days. This weekend is all about Modern, but we’ve got a sweet lineup of events everyone will enjoy.

Friday

Modern $30K Trials

For players looking to get some practice in before Saturday’s big event, we’ve got you covered. These three Trial events are a great way to test out your deck and compete for prizes, including two byes in Saturday’s main event.

The Modern $30K Trials cost $25 plus Melee.GG fees to enter and will be five rounds of Swiss with prizes awarded based on match point totals.

• 15 Match Points: 1000 Prize Wall Tickets + Two (2) round bye for Modern $30K
• 13 Match Points: 750 Prize Wall Tickets
• 12 Match Points: 500 Prize Wall Tickets
• 10 Match Points: 300 Prize Wall Tickets
• 9 Match Points: 100 Prize Wall Tickets

Saturday

Modern $30K

The main event for Magic players is the Modern $30K. Day 1 will begin at 10 AM and feature eight rounds of swiss, with all players boasting 18 or more match points advancing. Day 2 will be five additional rounds of swiss, followed by a cut to the Top 12. The four highest seeded players entering the Top 12 will have a first round bye in the playoffs.

Entry: $80 plus Melee.GG fees

• 3^rd – 4^th: $2,000 
• 5^th – 8^th: $1,500 
• 9^th – 12^th: $1,000

Sunday

Modern $10K

For the players that don’t make Day 2, there is still plenty more Magic to be played. The Modern $10K will begin at 10 AM and features swiss rounds based on attendance (400 max).

Entry: $50 plus Melee.GG fees

• 2^nd: $1,000.00 
• 3^rd – 4^th: $700.00 
• 5^th – 8^th: $500.00 
• 9^th – 16^th : $250.00 
• 17^th – 32^nd : $100.00 

Flesh and Blood Battle Hardened

For those less interested in Magic, the Flesh and Blood Battle Hardened event will begin at 9:30 AM on Sunday and features swiss rounds based on attendance.

Format: Blitz

Entry: $40 plus Melee.GG fees

Top 8 Prizes:

• 1^st: $500.00, Pro Tour Invitation*, Curated Gold Cold Foil Legendary, Exclusive Battle Hardened Playmat
• 2^nd: $500.00 + Pro Tour Invitation*, Exclusive Battle Hardened Playmat 
• 3^rd – 4^th: $250.00, Exclusive Battle Hardened Playmat 
• 5^th – 8^th: $125.00, Exclusive Battle Hardened Playmat  

Prizes for non-Top 8 Players are based on record.

*1^st and 2^nd place finishers receive a PTI that can be redeemed for entry into any future professional Flesh and Blood event that requires an invitation (National Championships, any future Pro Tour or the World Championships)

Weekend Long Packages

Commander Celebration

For those wanting to play as much Commander as possible, the Commander Celebration is available for $80. The package provides access to the Command Zone all weekend, non-foil Sol Ring and Path of Ancestry promo cards, Path of Ancestry playmat, deck box, four Commander pod vouchers, and a badge and lanyard.

Infinite Challenge

The Magic Infinite Challenge package allows you to enter as many of the Challenges (more than 30 scheduled) on the weekend for the low price of $150 via online registration. Entry also comes with the choice of one of more than 20 playmats on the prize wall.
