Set Symbols and Legality
All cards featuring the main set symbol for Lorwyn Eclipsed (left above) will be legal for play in Magic’s Standard format. Cards with the Lorwyn Eclipsed Commander (middle above) and Special Guests (right above) symbols will be legal for play only in Magic’s eternal formats.
The First Look
Magic fans got a first look at Lorwyn Eclipsed during the 2026 Preview Panel at MagicCon: Atlanta. Included among the reveals were reversible shock lands featuring new artwork, a new cycle of Evoke creatures, and of course, plenty of call-backs to the original Lorwyn block.

Theme Decks
Theme decks are a new product being introduced with the release of Lorwyn Eclipsed. These decks are “thematic, fun, and ready-to-play Standard decks featuring cards from throughout the format.” The first two decks are Izzet Pirates and Selesnya Angels. There will be two more decks released with Secrets of Strixhaven and another two with Reality Fracture.
Draft Night
Draft Night is another new product being introduced with Lorwyn Eclipsed. It includes “everything you need to host a Pick-Two Draft event for four players” including basic lands, tokens, and more.
