Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced a special Magic: The Gathering event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons.
The Magic Presents: Battle for Baldur’s Gate – 50th Anniversary Edition is a special Draft event that will be held at participating WPN stores from May 17-19. Players will receive three Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Draft boosters, and one Collector booster, from which they will build their 60 card decks. Each Battle for Baldur’s Gate – 50th Anniversary Edition also includes a new Dungeon for players to venture into – Baldur’s Gate Wilderness.
This oversized dungeon comes with tons of new rooms for players to move through, and is sure to change up the Draft environment significantly. It is currently unclear if this dungeon will be legal for Commander play.
