This past weekend, players from across the country gathered in Anaheim, California for the Disney Lorcana North American Challenge. In addition to crowning a new champion, more details for the game’s upcoming expansion, Archazia’s Island, were revealed.
Archazia’s Island
During the tournament’s livestream broadcast on the Disney Lorcana Twitch channel, the game’s developer, Ravensburger, revealed that Archazia’s Island would be releasing to local game stores on March 7, followed by a wide release on March 21.
Additionally, a new franchise will be coming to Disney Lorcana with the release of Archazia’s Island — Lady And The Tramp.
The 1955 Disney classic joins Bolt as the second new franchise announced for Archazia’s Island – a set that will revolve around Disney’s iconic animal characters – and continues the oceanic theme established by Azurite Sea.
North American Challenge
Over on the competitive side, Edmond Chiu won the Disney Lorcana North American Challenge with Amethyst and Ruby.

In a finals match featuring dueling Ruby decks, Chiu bested Scott Marken, who was piloting Ruby and Sapphire.

With his win, Chiu takes home an invitation to the Disney Lorcana World Championship in Disney World, a gorgeous trophy, and slew of other shiny cardboard goodies.
