Viserai, Rune Blood — the first Runeblade hero from Arcane Rising — reached Living Legend status this past weekend, retiring the hero and his signature weapon from Flesh and Blood’s Classic Constructed format.
After Week 3 of Road to Nationals 2025 season, Viserai crossed the 1,000-point threshold to signal the end of this iteration of Viserai in Classic Constructed. Viserai becomes the ninth hero in the game to ascend to Living Legend status in Flesh and Blood history. Nebula Blade, Viserai’s signature weapon, will join him as he departs the marquee constructed format but live on in the Living Legend format where all heroes remain legal to play.
Viserai and Nebula Blade will no longer be legal for Classic Constructed tournament play starting Friday. If a post from James White, creator of Flesh and Blood, serves as any indicator, we might see another version of Viserai soon.
