Legend Story Studios (LSS) took action on Silver Age in today’s scheduled Banned & Restricted announcement, banning six cards and unbanning three.
The announcement made it clear LSS will take action frequently in Silver Age, as card value on the secondary market isn’t a concern when managing a format comprised of commons, rares, and basic cards. Regular bans and unbans, in addition to heroes being voted out of the format on a season-by-season basis, will keep the format from getting stale.
The bans include:
- Aether Spindle
- Bracers of Belief
- Burn Up // Shock
- Lightning Press
- Sirens of Safe Harbor
- Steelblade Shunt
The unbans include:
- Amulet of Ice
- Rake the Embers
- Rootbound Carapace
These changes go into effect today. The next scheduled B&R Update is set for March 23 and it will only target Classic Constructed.
