James White announced the organized play and product roadmap for Flesh and Blood in 2024 this past weekend at the World Championship in Barcelona.

White, the creator of Flesh and Blood, kicked things off by sharing the prize pool for Pro Play in 2024 will be $1,500,000 — increased from this year’s $1 million. The increase comes from the return of a second Pro Tour in the year along with an uptick in the number of Callings and Battle Hardened events. Each Pro Tour and the 2024 World Championship coincides with the three standalone booster releases for Flesh and Blood next year.

Heavy Hitters is scheduled for release on February 2 and Set 13 and Set 14 will come out in July and November, respectively. These sets will all be draftable sets, with smaller product releases scattered between them. Each Pro Tour will have a corresponding ProQuest season. Nationals returns with a qualifying Road to Nationals season, leaving two Skirmish seasons in the year.

The first Pro Tour in 2024 takes place in Los Angeles on March 21-24 at the Los Angels Convention Center across the street from the Staples Center. The second Pro Tour is scheduled for July 25-28 in Amsterdam at the RAI Center. Each Pro Tour will boast a $200,000 prize pool. The date and location for the third Flesh and Blood World Championship will be announced later.

There will be 18 Callings in 2024 compared to the 11 in 2023 and 50 Battle Hardened events compared to this year’s 42. The first Calling of 2024 will be the Queenstown, New Zealand Calling that also features the World Premier of Heavy Hitters. The Queenstown Calling will introduce the new gold foil Champion’s Prize Card Balance of Justice. The yet-to-be previewed piece of equipment will use a new keyword that lands somewhere between Battleworn and Temper. This means Barcelona was the last event to use the Crown of Providence gold foil prize card.

The start of the Calling schedule looks like this:

  • January 19-21: Queenstown, New Zealand
  • February 2-24: Hartford, Connecticut
  • February 9-11: Liverpool, England
  • March 22-24: Los Angels, California
  • May 10-12: Warsaw, Poland

More events will be announced in December, with a special focus on the APAC region.
