Details For Next Flesh And Blood Set Uprising Unveiled

Learn all about Flesh and Blood’s upcoming booster set!

Uprising illustrated by Grafit Studio

Legend Story Studios (LSS) revealed new heroes, art, key dates, and more for the upcoming standalone booster set, Uprising, set for release on June 24.

Uprising will be a draftable booster set release containing 226 cards with 16-card packs. Paper pack wrappers return for a second straight set following Everfest. The set offers players the first chance at opening marvel cards — a new rarity aimed at collectors, with alternate art and borderless treatments. Check out the first revealed marvel variant for Dracona Optimai alongside its normal version.

That’s right, Dragons are coming to Flesh and Blood in the form of Dragon Allies. The total number of marvels is still a mystery, but the set will also contain the usual rarities and cold foils players have come to expect. The set breaks down like this:

  • 1 Fabled
  • 6 Legendary
  • 27 Majestic
  • 51 Rare
  • 125 Common
  • 16 Token

And while the number of marvels is unknown at the moment, the product page shows art for three dragons, so it’s possible that each one gets the marvel treatment. Check out Dracona Optimai, Dominia, and Tomeltai in all their glory!

Of course, what would a new Flesh and Blood set be without new heroes? While Young Iyslander debuted in Everfest, the adult Iyslander shows up in Uprising along with Fai and Dromai. Iyslander, Stormbind is an Elemental Wizard and the young version gets new art as well.

Fai is a new ninja hero who appears to like fire. All we have is art to go off from currently, so let the speculation begin! Fai and Young Fai can be seen below.

Dromai is an illusionist hero who can conjure the legendary dragons of Volcor out of aether. Dromai and Young Dromai can be seen below.

On top of booster displays and cases, Uprising will also have two preconstructed Blitz decks featuring Young Fai and Young Dromai. Each deck comes with a rainbow foil hero card, weapon, equipment, and a 40-card deck.

Players looking to get their hands on Uprising as soon as possible can attend one of three world premiere events across the globe. Las Vegas, Madrid, and Sydney will all host an Uprising world premiere weekend on June 10-12. Three days of action include a massive Sealed tournament on Friday, a Team Blitz Calling on Saturday, and a Battle Hardened on Sunday. Players receive an exclusive Dragons of Volcor playmat and a box of Legendary Dragons of Volcor Dragon Shield sleeves.

For players who can’t make it to a world premiere event, the worldwide prerelease weekend is set for June 18-19 at select local game stores. While a few cards have already been previewed from the set, preview season for Uprising kicks off on June 4.
