STARCITYGAMES.COM TO SELL SOLFORGE
ROANOKE, VA. – Feb. 12, 2014 – StarCityGames.com is proud to announce it is now selling a variety of products for SolForge, a digital trading card game from Stone Blade Entertainment.
Already the world’s largest Magic: the Gathering store, StarCityGames.com is excited to be working with Stone Blade Entertainment to offer booster packs, four unique “faction” preconstructed decks, draft vouchers, and in-game gold. Also available exclusively on StarCityGames.com is a special bundle pack including an Alloyin preconstructed deck, a SolForge draft voucher, and 2,000 in-game gold.
SolForge is a free-to-play digital trading card game that can be played on smart phones, tablets and PCs from the creators of Magic: the Gathering and Ascension. Players can build decks to play friends or AI, and can enter online asynchronous tournaments to be played at their own leisure. Players can choose to purchase packs or gold to get faster access to more content and have better chances at acquiring rarer legendary cards. Players can enter drafts ran similarly to Magic, but may draft and play their rounds whenever they want. Prizes are awarded to drafters based on their record after three rounds of play.

StarCityGames.com will offer eight-card booster packs for $1.99 and the 30-card “faction” preconstructed decks for $12.99 each. The exclusive StarCityGames.com Alloyin Bundle pack is available for $19.99. Other items available are draft vouchers for $4.99 and five allotments of in-game gold varying in price for any level of player. StarCityGames.com will also be giving away vouchers for a free SolForge draft on all online physical (non-digital products) orders of more than $5 and to all Open Series entrants.

SolForge’s open beta debuted in August of 2013 and plans are in motion for a second set of cards to come out in the coming months. While young, the game implemented online tournaments in December and already boasts thousands of players getting involved in competitive action.
