Rich continues his excellent Draft series. The Canadian maestro turns his back on the cooling Coldsnap, and heads for the balmy waters of sweeter formats. This draft went rather poorly, partially because it took me so long to figure out my colors. Looking back at the draft, it seems the only way for me to have had a good deck would have been to play White, but it would have been difficult to get into White since I got passed next to none in the first pack. I lost the first game by drawing three Mountains, a Forest, and every card in the deck I couldn’t cast with those lands, and lost the second to a Hail of Arrows that I guess I could have played around. It wasn’t the one I passed. I quite enjoy drafting CBS, so if I see the queue filling up again I’ll get another set and get in there.
