This draft was a bit disappointing. I got next to nothing from Izzet in the second pack, even though I only passed one Blue or Red card. Therefore my deck ended up being pretty mediocre. I was short on cards, and the cards I did have didn’t have much synergy. I lost a not particularly close first round to a mediocre uwb deck. In the first game I had an extremely slow draw which I probably should have mulliganed, and I couldn’t find an answer for his Ocular Halo on Drift of Phantasms until it was far too late. In the second game he seemed to have the perfect card on every turn, and I had no choice but to walk into every trick. He had Carom, Guardian’s Magemark, and Peel From Reality at every opportune moment. Basically, this draft was a nightmare.
