That’s right, High Seas and Copper Cog introduce the keyword “unlimited” to the game. A player can have any number of Copper Cogs in their deck, allowing them to set up turns with additional action points reliably. However, Copper Cog has no block value, so having many copies of it could be a liability against certain opponents.
Notably, Puffin, Hightail, the new Pirate Mechanologist, lets players draw a card when they crank for a second time on a turn. We also know that there will be at least one other cog in High Seas, the token Golden Cog. So, what will be the best way to go about using Copper Cog? Load up on copies for Puffin or bring them into the arena with one of the other Mechanologist heroes in the game?
