P1p2 With Stinger I am more likely to want to go Jund than Naya but Oblivion Ring is so much easier to cast and even on the same power level as Sprouting Thrinax. I also had already passed a bunch of Jund cards and there was even an Executioner’s Capsule in this pack.
P1p5 This was a tough pick but assuming I was in Naya I would rather have Qasali Ambusher than Iguanar. Ambusher is such a blowout when he hops in and Iguanar isn’t usually that awesome when your plan is just a few big guys.
P2p2 Once you have a Stinger additional Stingers gain much value. Having two in play severely limits your opponent’s plays so I took the second one over the Naya Charm.
P2p4 No idea why O-Ring was still here but I stuck with the turbo Stinger plan.
P3p3 Soul’s Fire is good but I was really lacking in creatures at this point.

Round 1 versus Naya
G1 I have a nice curve here with a turn 1 Squire and turn 3 hardcast Qasali Ambusher. His first play is turn 4 and since I am on the play I Bloodpyre it and he dies.
G2 This game is much closer since we both play spells at a reasonable pace. I luckily have all three colors without incident and start churning out removal spells to break the parity. Skeletonize plus Branching Bolt plus Oblivion Ring clear the path for my assortment of dorks.

Round 2 versus Jund
G1 Here my mana catches up to me which is not surprising in the least. I have double Stinger in hand but don’t draw a Mountain until it is way too late.
G2 I even have the right mana here but it is to no avail as my opponent has a vastly superior curve. Short game summaries but they weren’t really close at all.

Until tomorrow…
