Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Dot Esports, check out four more cards coming in Historic Anthology 5 — Silumgar’s Command, Urabrask the Hidden, Reverse Engineer, and Ichor Wellspring!
The third Command from Dragons of Tarkir to show up in Historic Anthology 5, Silumgar’s Command saw the least play of the five. The modal spells takes care of many problems, but at five mana the card never really saw the level of play the other four Commands did.
Urabrask is the second Praetor from New Phyrexia joining this installment of cards as Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger was one of the initial preview cards for the set. This five-drop makes your creatures better and faster while making your opponents struggle with blocking.
Reverse Engineer is another card left out of Kaladesh Remastered that has found its way into the format through a Historic Anthology. Reverse Engineer could be the card drawing boost artifact-based decks are looking for, utilizing the improvise mechanic quite nicely.
Ichor Wellspring has been a role player for artifact decks for years, giving many archetypes a cantrip and an extra card on the battlefield to do sweet things with. Emry, Lurker of the Loch has already made waves in Historic, but Ichor Wellspring could give it another piece to pair with it.
Historic Anthology 5 will be released on May 27 and include 25 cards.
