The rare from Ravnica Allegiance has made waves in the oldest format in Magic, acting as a taxing creature that can be played early enough to prevent decks like Shops from powering out early artifacts or combo decks from playing a handful of free spells. The effects are also only for opponents, allowing the controller to still use their Force of Wills and other free cards.

Lavinia feels right at home with a timeshifted frame from the bonus sheet of Time Spiral Remastered. The card will also be relevant in Limited as a way to prevent cards from being played off suspend.

Time Spiral Remastered is currently scheduled to release on March 19, 2021. You can check out our official Time Spiral Remastered preview gallery here.
