Gabriel Silva won Sunday’s SCG Tour Online Standard $5K Kaldheim Championship Qualifier #10 with Mono-White Aggro❄.
Mono-White Aggro❄ Gabriel Silva
Silva earned an invite to the Kaldheim Championship and $1,500 by winning the 350-person event without dropping a single match. Silva faced a Mono-White Aggro❄ mirror in the finals against Abe Corrigan, with Silva taking the tournament-deciding Game 3 thanks to a timely Glass Casket to clear the way after Corrigan found a copy of Valkmira, Protector’s Shield to nearly stabilize. With the Shield blanking all of Silva’s 1/1s, the Casket allowed a Seasoned Hallowblade and Skyclave Apparition to get in for the final three points of damage.
Silva made it to the finals by defeating Thierry Rambo in the quarterfinals and Adam Cohen in the semis, both on Sultai Ramp (Yorion) — the deck Mono-White Aggro❄ was primed to prey on after its performance last weekend.
