Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast (WotC) and Cassius Marsh, catch a glimpse of the long-awaited land from Kaldheim — The World Tree!
The World Tree can be seen from every realm in Kaldheim and now the world can see it in all of its glory.
To start, it’s a tapped nonbasic land (notably not legendary) that makes green mana.
In a world of Fertile Footsteps and Cultivate, six lands isn’t that many. The World Tree can tie your mana together by simply making land drops and isn’t legendary so you can pack up to four to reliably find a copy without being punished for multiples. Even if you play this on the sixth turn tapped, you can still play any card with a WUBRG casting cost. Of course, what else can you do once you all your lands make whatever color mana you want?

Once you’ve ramped to eleven or so lands and need some action, The World Tree has you covered. Dump your mana into this and sacrifice it to dig out as many Gods you want and put them onto the battlefield. If you’re grabbing Kolvori, God of Kinship and two other Gods, Kolvori gets its bonus immediately and plays well with having other Gods in your deck.
What do you think of The World Tree? Are you going to live the dream of putting all the Gods onto the battlefield or just find a way to play five colors effortlessly?
Kaldheim is currently scheduled to release on February 5. You can check out our official Kaldheim Preview Gallery here.
