Back in November, I announced a number of changes we’d soon be making to StarCityGames.com’s® In-Store Programs and Organized Play initiatives – the most
significant of which was the introduction of the SCG Tour® TM.
Since those changes have gone into effect, attendance numbers have spiked significantly, we’ve sold out 100% of our available SCG Tour® TM Season
One vendor space, multiple teams have formed for the primary purpose of playing in SCG Tour® TM events, many Magic: The Gathering artists have
contacted us wanting to appear at our events, and we’ve seen positive movement in almost every area the changes were intended to affect.
Speaking of changes, that’s exactly what we’re expecting to see this weekend – when the SCG Tour® TM returns to Atlanta to host the first major Standard, Modern, and Legacy
events with Oath of the Gatewatch! If you’re unable to be part of the fun in Atlanta, be sure to tune in to live coverage of the Standard Open all weekend long courtesy of Cedric Phillips, Patrick Sullivan, Nick Miller,
and the rest of the SCGLive crew!
