Originally printed in Scars of Mirrodin, Wurmcoil Engine has been reprinted three times — Commander 2014, Masterpiece Series: Kaladesh Inventions, Commander Anthology 2018 —with Double Masters being the fourth.
The six-mana 6/6 cemented itself as a powerful finisher in many formats, but is most commonly found in Mono-Green Tron decks in Modern. After getting new art and a new Showcase frame in Double Masters, Wurmcoil Engine is likely to show up on many Mono-Green Tron players’ watch lists as a way to give their favorite deck a sweet upgrade.
