In this draft I found that Blue was open throughout, but I didn’t really have a second color to get into beyond the third pick Rift Bolt and fourth pick Grapeshot. I held out most of the way, keeping my option for a third color open, but one never really came along. Eventually I gave up and stayed with Red due to a lack of options.
Round 1 I got a bye because my opponent (presumably) raredrafted, and conceded after seeing my rating.
Round 2 I played a decent looking Green/Black deck. In the first game I was able to draw a fourth land the turn before I died and kill four creatures with my Subterranean Shambler, and then make six Goblins with Empty the Warrens next turn. Game 2 I had Empty the Warrens for six on turn 5, and my ran him over with Goblins.
I split the finals because my deck was quite underwhelming.
