Pick 1: At a Pro Tour or a Grand Prix, my pick would’ve been Briarhorn. Anywhere
else, including Magic Online 8-4 queues, I’m willing to take Cryptic
Command. The Blue command is also very good in Limited, and is clearly the second
best card of the pack.
Pick 30: I was thinking of splashing Briarhorn.
Pick 31: Oona’s Prowler is one more Faerie. The more I get, the better those
Spellstuter Sprites will be. I need some cheap Faeries for the Sprites to be
good, and this one is a very good attacker. Maybe Eyeblight’s Ending was a
better pick.
Round 1 I played versus a very good Blue/White Merfolks. I lost 0-2 and none
of the games weren’t even close. I saw the following cards:
