Following preview season tradition, Magic: The Gathering Head Designer, Mark Rosewater, has shared a teaser for Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek to his Blogatog.
While each bullet provides a partial hint for things to come within the set, a few of the more interesting details include: “a new card that lets you play cards from outside the game,” “a new card that can make you lose the game,” and “a card that allows you to survive at 0 life.”
Some tidbits of rules text that appears on cards includes: “you can’t sacrifice Treasure tokens,” “CARDNAME’s base power and toughness become 7/9,” and “sacrifice any number of lands you control.”
Additionally, Rosewater shared several of the creature types being included in the set, some of which are: Creature – Whale Officer, Legendary Creature – Ooze Horror, Legendary Creature – Ferengi Noble, and Artifact – Communicator Equipment.
So what do you think of Rosewater’s teaser? Are there any specific hints that stick out to you? Let us know your theories!
