Magic Adds North America, Latin America, And Japan To List Of Regions Impacted By Reality Fracture Delays

Multiple regions to experience limited availability of Reality Fracture products at launch

After announcing last week that select Magic: The Gathering Reality Fracture products would be delayed, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has now added more regions to the initial list.

According to WotC, “delays in production and shipping” have lead to Reality Fracture Bundles, Collector Boosters, and Commander decks being thrown off-schedule for multiple regions. This announcement comes on the heels of a previous statement from WotC back in August regarding the supply of Reality Fracture Play Boosters being potentially limited beyond the initial allocation.

As of today’s announcement, the regions and Reality Fracture products affected by delays are as follows:

  • North America
    • Bundles
    • Omega Collector Boosters
  • Asia-Pacific
    • Collector Boosters
    • Bundles
    • Reality Fracture Commander decks*
      • *Excludes the Foundations Commander decks
  • Europe, Middle East, Africa
    • Collector Boosters
    • Secret Lair Bundles
  • Japan
    • Collector Boosters
    • Reality Fracture Commander decks
    • Foundations Commander decks
  • Latin America
    • Bundles

Important to note, the initial wave of Play Boosters and Prerelease Packs are not affected by these delays, meaning Prerelease events leading up to the tabletop release on October 2 are expected to remain on schedule.

WotC plans to provide estimated arrival dates for the delayed products as they become available.
