Episode 8 of Magic’s Reality Fracture story picks back up with Vraska and the other planeswalkers collecting the remaining pieces of Jace.
After reclaiming a young Jace, Garruk ushers Chandra and Ajani through a nearby portal, but notices too late that they had been separated from Vraska. With the others gone, the illusion of the dying Alhammarret directs Vraska to the edge of the rooftop and wills her to step off. Looking down, she see another portal below, and seconds later, she falls through it.
Emerging on the other side, Vraska finds herself in a familiar militant camp, with another piece of Jace waiting — the Soldier. Seeing his captain approach, the youth stands at attention, but Vraska quickly puts him at ease and collects the fragment a short time later.
Another portal — Vraska exits to find Jace the Guildpact, who breaths a sigh of relief seeing it’s her and not The Theorist, come to burden him with the specifics of his plan again. Their meeting is brief, and he joins her cause without hesitation, enthusiastically renouncing his title as he merges with her.
One final portal — Vraska stands on the sandy shores of Ixalan. It isn’t long before she finds the final piece of Jace — the Survivor. The two spend some time sitting together in the sand, sharing in a beautiful, heartfelt moment. After exchanging some impromptu Vrynian marriage vows, the Survivor steels his resolve and joins the other pieces of himself within his bride’s mind.
Switching perspectives, we find The Theorist in his sanctum attempting, once again, to kill Oracle Jadzi. Despite having everything prepared, The Theorist finds he still cannot go through with it, having cut out the piece of him that maintained the ability to do so. Having failed once again, The Theorist frustratingly crashes into Jadzi’s mind, but finds complete chaos waiting.
“The Theorist barges into the oracle’s perception and is immediately shredded by a dust storm of possibility. It is a vast desert filled with swirling sand, and obfuscated by the storm are visions of potential, the myriad ways their moment in the sunrise could play out. The Theorist sees what he saw before—a hundred options, a thousand outcomes. But the voice he hears over the storm carries one clear fact. He needs to kill Jadzi to do it.”
Unexpectedly, The Theorist’s resolve wavers and he says “I think this may be beyond my expertise…” to which Jadzi laughs and replies “Oh good! It’s this timeline…” before grabbing the knife in front of her and swiftly cutting her own throat. With their minds still tied, The Theorist shares in her pain briefly, and before he can react, finds his consciousness being launched through the blind eternities.

Chandra, Ajani, and Garruk had reached the sanctum mere moments before Jadzi’s death, but they were too late. Reuniting body and mind, The Theorist now finds himself equipped with the previously unattainable power and knowledge required to see his plan to fruition.
Racing forward, the trio unleash their respective pieces of Jace and they quickly flood into The Theorist’s mind. The parts do their best to subdue their whole, but without Vraska and the other parts she carries, the others fail, and The Theorist is able to push them out. No longer restrained, the near-omniscient Theorist turns and walks to the balcony, eager to begin the merger of the multiverses.

“The Theorist shivers. He returns to the balcony and avoids looking at Jadzi on the tile, surrounded by a pool of red. He holds his hands aloft, and with the greatest telepathy the Multiverse has ever known, he weaves two Multiverses together.”
