Kevin Smith, the writer, director, and actor known for his Jay and Silent Bob movies, revealed upcoming covers for his comic book one-shot based on his characters — one of which features a new Magic: The Gathering card.
Lucky the Pizza Dog graced one of the many covers of the Jays of Future Past comic, which appears to send Jay and Silent Bob into the Marvel multiverse alongside famous characters like Mister Fantastic, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Wolverine, and more. Smith, a longtime comic book fan, has often included comic references in his movies, with Jay and Silent Bob taking on the alter egos of Bluntman and Chronic in some of his films.
Check out Lucky below.

The Lucky card cover is one of many versions of alternate comic book covers that portray a full Magic card. This one-eyed pup adopted by Hawkeye and Kate Bishop has a collector number and set symbol for Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes eternal-legal set, so it could appear in the Commander decks or possibly a Jumpstart pack.
In Magic, Lucky is a legendary 2/2 Dog that gives you a Food token whenever you cast a Cat, Dog, or Hero spell. At your end step, put a +1/+1 counter on Lucky if you gained life this turn. He looks to be a great fit for Cat, Dog, or Pizza-themed decks.
Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes is scheduled to release on June 26.
