Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has announced this year’s Eternal Weekend dates and locations.
Fans of Legacy and Vintage Magic will have the choice of playing on three continents to compete for glory and new promo cards perfect for eternal format players. The dates, locations, and tournament organizers for each event are:
- October 29–November 1, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—hosted by Pastimes
- December 3–6, 2026, in Lucca, Italy—hosted by 4Seasons
- December 5–6, in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan—hosted by Hareruya
Typically, each Eternal Weekend event is filled with side events and on-demand tournaments all weekend long while being headlined by the Legacy and Vintage Championships. It’s one of the rare events where players can sleeve up their Power 9 and battle it out for cash and bragging rights.
The prize cards for the tournaments are promo copies of Life from the Loam and Treasure Cruise. The Top 32 players in the Legacy Championship receive a non-foil Life from the Loan and the Top 8 get a foil copy. The Top 32 players in the Vintage Championship receive a non-foil Treasure Cruise and the Top 8 get a foil copy.
