Evan Herndon won Flesh and Blood’s Pro Tour in Yokohama with Oscilio, Constella Intelligence and Kano on Sunday, adding a PT title to go with his Calling and US National Championship trophies.

Herndon blasted through the competition over the weekend with his pair of Wizard heroes, going 8-1 in Classic Constructed with Oscilio and 5-1 in Silver Age with Kano, to enter the Top 8 as the No. 1 seed as the only 13-2 player in the event. The Pro Tour showcased Silver Age at the highest level of competition yet, though Sunday was reserved for Classic Constructed.

The Top 8 featured some of the strongest players in the game’s history, with Michael Hamilton and Yuki Lee Bender joining Herndon on the Sunday stage. Herndon and Bender reached the finals, as the top two seeds, and squared off in an Oscilio mirror to decide who walked away with the Pro Tour Champion prize card and $50,000.

Herndon squeaked out a tight game where both players looked to the top of their deck for help in the pivotal turns, ultimately ending with Herndon peeling a Shock to close out the match and tournament. Bender earned $20,000 and a Gold Foil Legendary Black Envelope for her second-place finish.

The meta game break downs for Classic Constructed and Silver Age can be seen below. Of the 531 players registered for Round 1, 85 brought Arakni, Marionette and 83 played Victor Goldmane, High and Mighty.

Of the 468 players who made it to Round 6 for Silver Age 131 played Ira, twice as many that played Kano — the second-most played hero.
