The Pokémon world is gearing up for a series of special releases to celebrate the Trading Card Game’s 30th anniversary.
Teased during today’s Pokémon Presents, the brief, one minute debut trailer takes trainers through past and present, flashing images of iconic cards from each of the TCG’s eras before ending with never-before-seen images of Mew and Mewtwo along with the text “the future awaits.”
While details are still very limited, the official announcement article states that the celebration will span multiple releases beginning with a “simultaneously coordinated global launch in participating markets…” followed by “…additional product releases throughout the year.”
