Flesh And Blood Keynote Presentation Reveals Next Set, Extra Silver Age Support, And More

See the 2026 product roadmap, new World Tour dates, and next Armory Deck Origins installment

Legend Story Studios (LSS) Lead Developer Bryan Gottlieb kicked off the Flesh and Blood World Championship Thursday in Philadelphia by showing off new products, announcing organized play locations and dates for 2026, and more in the highly-anticipated keynote presentation.

Let’s dive into the next set the folks at LSS have cooked up for the Flesh and Blood community.

The 18th set for Flesh and Blood will be Compendium of Rathe, a return to expansion sets in a new, premium variety. Each pack will contain at least three rares and the drop rate for cold foils will be roughly one in eight packs.

The expansion was designed to supplement the Classic Constructed and Silver Age formats and will feature support for every class and talent in the game. It has a heavy dose of rare cards to impact Silver Age, but will also include iconic reprints — including multiple Fabled cards, like Eye of Ophidia. Special Antiquity Packs, which come one per box, will include reprints of the game’s most desirable cards in the new Antiquity frame treatment.

The Compendium of Rathe World Premiere takes place in London on February 6-8, 2026. The World Premiere itself will use Silver Age preconstructed decks, as the set isn’t made for Limited, and the attached Calling will be Silver Age constructed.

Speaking of Silver Age, Gottlieb announced that the new format will be curated by the community. With the release of each new set, the community will vote for heroes that will sit out the next season of Silver Age play. The top three vote getters and one hero picked by the development team will leave the format for one season then return to the format. If a hero gets voted out again, the span for its removal will increase a season for each time the hero finished in the Top 3 in voting results.

Gottlieb also announced locations for Callings in the first half of 2026, along with two Pro Tour dates and locations. The Flesh and Blood World Tour will consist of 36 pro level events and boast a $2M prize pool. World Tour stops featuring Callings so far include:

  • Akihabara — January 9-11
  • Columbus — January 16-18
  • Montréal — February 27 – March 1
  • Toulouse — March 6-8
  • Brisbane — March 13-15
  • Shanghai — April 3-5
  • Shinjuku — July 10-12

The two Pro Tours, which will also have Callings attached to the weekends are:

  • Yokohama — April 9-12
  • Las Vegas — July 16-19

The National Championship for the United States will be in Minneapolis on June 12-14. Starting in 2026, tournament participation promos will be replaced by Tournament Packs. Exact details for Tournament Packs weren’t given, but Gottlieb described the contents as “stunning, stunning cards” players will love adding to their collections.

On top of pro play, Flesh and Blood will continue to offer plenty of options for in-store and local-level play. Check out the schedule for the seasons associated with Skirmish, Road to Nationals, and Pro Quest play.
